Alex Mauree joined the recruitment industry in 1997, following a very successful career in the services industry. After joining the company he quickly established himself as an excellent recruitment professional, developing a number of important client partnerships which remain strong today. In recognition of this and other successes he was promoted to Director in 2003. He subsequently took the opportunity with fellow Director, Phil Mead, to buy the company in 2005, believing that there was huge scope to grow and diversify the business. Alex fully believes in the core values of Connections - trust, honesty, integrity, compassion and understanding. Taking these values and an unbridled ambition to succeed, he is the driving force behind Connections. He and Phil hope one day to pass the business to those that help shape the business for further sucess in the future.

Phil Mead joined Connections way back in 1996, after an early career in the services industry. His eye for detail, tremendous dedication and customer service were contributory factors to Phil becoming a recruitment professional that both clients and candidates alike could rely on without hesitation. In 2003 Phil’s professionalism and success were recognised by promotion to Director. In 2005, in partnership with Alex Mauree, Phil acquired the business with an eye to the opportunities to build on the success of the Connections brand, to grow and diversify the business. Phil also holds the values of trust, honesty, integrity, compassion and understanding paramount, believing that a business built on these values will be sustainable, successful and a fulfilling experience for all participants.

Judith Carroll joined the business in 2003, having had a very successful corporate career in the automotive industry. Judith quickly confirmed her reputation in her field of expertise by demonstrating excellent business knowledge, having very high standards and expectations and through delivering a fast, effective and accurate service to all within her remit. Judith is pivotal in the current and future success of the business, with responsibilities ranging from finance, company policy and compliance to strategic planning with the Board.

Martin Litherland graduated from Portsmouth University in 1999. He then chose to go travelling around the world before joining Connections in 2000. As a naturally gregarious individual, Martin found the recruitment industry a rewarding and enjoyable career choice. With training and support from the company, Martin soon became a very successful recruiter, building some excellent client relationships, many of which were in the field of storage systems and infrastructure. Martin was promoted to Account Manager in 2004, when he started to build on his personal success by developing a team. His endeavours were rewarded in 2006 when he was awarded Account Manager of the Year. Martin continues to head a team and is very influential in the current success and future direction of the business in his capacity as part of the Connections leadership team.

Henry Wellesley-Davis joined Connections in 2001, having previously had a short yet successful career in the insurance industry. It did not take long for both Henry and Connections to realise that this was an excellent career change, with Henry taking to the industry very quickly.Using his previous business experience combined with the company training and support, Henry established himself as a hardworking, reliable and intuitive recruiter. He quickly developed client and candidate relationships leading to some very successful assignments, which today account for some of the longest running business relationship at Connections. His success was rewarded with promotion to Account Manager in 2004. In 2007 Henry was awarded Account Manager of the Year and his team were awarded Team of the Year. Henry is part of the Connections leadership team, which works with the Board to shape the future strategy and development of the company.

Simon Voice joined Connections in 2005 as a recruitment professional with over six years experience in the industry. When Simon joined the business he immediately took up the role and responsibilities of Account Manager, quickly establishing some excellent client relationships and a team of professional recruiters working under his guidance. Simon is an undisputed recruitment expert in the field of Agile. For a long time he was the only professional recruiter in the UK qualified to be Agile Project Leader, giving him the technical understanding of his client and candidates’ needs as well as the recruitment skills needed to meet them. Others more recently qualified also work as part of Simon's team. Simon is also part of the Connections leadership team, providing invaluable experience and knowledge to help the future growth and success of the business.

Alastair Pascoe joined Connections in 2009 as a very experienced recruitment professional with over 10 years of proven success. Alastair is working closely with the Board and as part of the leadership team he is responsible for establishing an Executive Search practice to complement Connections current portfolio of recruitment solutions. Alastair has a long history of working with the world's leading technology and services companies, often working to secure individuals who command remuneration packages of over £250,000, and on occasions has been the architect behind the move of entire teams numbering 5-70 plus. The mix of Alastair's experience, ambition and success will be a major factor in the continued success and future development of Connections.
